Mr. Grand retires and makes her store manager; Kent fears this will mean she has no time for him. He's right, and asks Karen for a divorce. She decides to "quit my job and spend my time being your wife!"

Irene thinks Dave "is more my type and...makes gobs of money." They all visit Jim's farm, but Dave recklessly drives a hay wagon and hits a truck, killing Corinne and Jim. Irene separates from Dave: "Will Dave and I find true love through our grief? I don't know."

SynopsisDepartment store clerk Wilma is engaged to policeman Ned, but she is pursued by handsome salesman Cameron. A jealous Ned punches Cameron and Wilma gets angry; she sends Ned's ring back to him. Cameron and Wilma elope. Soon, Wilma discovers her husband drinks and runs around with other women. Before she can ask him for a divorce, Cameron gets drunk and falls to his death from a balcony. Wilma is now free to marry Ned.
