Synopsis | Soft-hearted Mig moves to California to marry her longtime boyfriend Dave. While waiting for their house to be finished, Mig shares a room with cynical Paula. Mig pities Paula, although Dave warns her that Paula has a bad reputation. When Paula is named as a co-respondent in a divorce case, Dave tells Mig to never speak to her again. Paula asks Mig for a loan but Paula refuses because of Dave; Paula is later murdered. Mig blames Dave and breaks up with him, then learns Paula was a blackmailer and her partner in crime killed her. Mig and Dave get back together. |
