This big helping of Roy Crane shows why he was so admired by other cartoonists, and how both his drawing and his storytelling influenced countless future comics artists. Also why they loved his women! I've always wondered why Crane drew villains squinting their eyes and sticking their tongues out when they do something nasty (see page 5). Even Bull Dawson used to do it.
