According to Alan Holtz's blog, The Stripper's Guide, this strip ran weekly from June 3 1934 to July 28 1935 so this is probably the entire run. I am puzzled by the lack of continuity in the coloring from one page to the next. Pom's shirt changes from red to yellow and back, and animals that are nicely multicolor when they appear are often a solid red on the next page. It is hard to imagine that a colorist could be so negligent. I noticed in the opening panel of one page an empty yellow square in the middle of a blue sky where a text block might go, so I wonder if they used coloring provided for the original newspaper strip. On the whole a very strange and enjoyably meandering tale, and I really enjoyed the Percy Penguin gag strip, which has quite a sardonic attitude toward life.

It's fascinating to see what Mo Leff could do on his own. He spent most of his career ghosting for other artists. He shows a lot of imagination and considerable skill. In many panels he seems to have been influenced by Hal Foster's Tarzan.
