Thanks for sharing. Great comic... |

So much fun! The story about Mayan treasure was just like watching an episode from my youth. But the last story was what triggered my nostalgia. I had forgotten that, in the series, Mike Nelson worked at Marineland of the Pacific. The old marine park doesn't exist anymore, but I remember seeing it on the show when watching the series as a kid and later, visiting it when I was in my late teens.
So, thank you for a fabulous memory bonus to an entertaining comic. I even liked the story about the flabby tourist fisherman. What a bit of history! |

I thought I had seen all that TV show's episodes. And although I don't remember a Mayan treasure city episode nor a blowing up a bridge episode, both look like good candidates for being based on a TV show script. So, I am asking any experts on that show, who may happen to be forum members reading this, to inform us as to whether or not these 2 stories were drawn from 2 of that series' scripts, with scenes, perhaps drawn from looking at still shots from the filming. |

The 'Underwater City' story is pencilled by Manning, but not inked. there may be several persons involved.
Sacred Sinkholes are a real thing.
