The "Crossfire" art is definitely NOT by Russ Manning.
GCD has it wrong, but probably has the art in #7 right. Probably, Tom Gill did the art in #6 as well as #7 and #5.

I'm at a very great disadvantage here, Superman, in that I do not have any examples of definite Tom Gill from 1958 in my collection, so I need to be cautious when I say that this doesn't look anything like the Tom Gill that I'm familiar with up until, say, 1955. This is distorted and grotesque in ways that his art never seemed to be. He drew the Four Color issues of Cheyenne and was drawing The Lone Ranger and, I think, Silver comics during these years as well. This looks to me like someone attempting to draw like Gill, and failing, IMHO. FWIW. My 2cents (|:{>
