Synopsis | Lynn is engaged to Don but he’s killed in the war. She vows never to date a soldier again. She becomes Bill’s private secretary; he proposes to her but she can’t decide. Lynn then falls in love with Bill’s brother Tony, unaware that he’s an Army pilot. When she finds out, she decides to marry Bill instead, but he knows she doesn’t love him. Bill says Lynn has to conquer her fear if she loves Tony. She does, and they wed. |

Leslie and Tom fall in love but he says they’re too poor to marry. Leslie’s father tries to put Tom out of business but Tom stands up to him. This impresses the older man, who gives his consent for Tom to marry Leslie. |
