Another fascinating early comic. This one seems to be the Milton Caniff edition, given how many artists either swipe from or are influenced by "Terry and the Pirates." Note also the "Scorchy Smith" airplane panels in "Dan Dennis." The Masked Marvel is strongly reminiscent of pulp magazines with its mysterious band of code-named crime-fighters. The Marvel seems to have lasted a while though I don't think he was a very strong lead character.
