Very interesting to see Yaroslav Horak's early work. It's hard to see evidence of his mature style in this book.

Thanks Paw Broon, loved this one. With Aussie made comics being based in America, England or the jungle, it's nice to see that Jet Fury calls Australia home! Please, keep 'em coming!

Seems to be somewhat in the same mold as American aviators like Captain Midnight, Spy Smasher, or Skyman. Jet Fury's plane seems to be based on Lockheed's P-38 Lightning, but shorter and stubbier, and of course, jet-powered as opposed to prop-driven. Always nice to see a character with a unique, signature mode of transport. I was hoping this would be wartime-related, but alas. Interesting nonetheless. Unusual mix on that back-page advert, with Scorchy Smith (again?), and Manhunter (which unless I miss my guess, is the same feature from Quality Comics... I think maybe it ran in POLICE COMICS? Didn't take the time to look it up...)
