Records of man's ability to live out his life over one or two centuries are actually commonplace. But the story of Jean Turel of Dijon, France, is spectacular in its longevity. Turel served in the French army over three consecutive centuries. He joined a regiment in 1699, fought and served through the 1700s, and was still serving France in 1802 when he was given a pension by Napoleon, Service that totaled 103 years. Believe It or Not!
