Bobby Leach, who went over Niagara Falls in a barrel in 1911, died from injuries received when he slipped on a banana peel while walking quietly along the street in Christchurch, New Zealand. The soil of Argentaria, an island of the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea, consists of a greasy soap-like substance which the natives have used as soap from time immemorial. They wash in it and they use it to launder their clothes. When it rains, the island is covered with soap suds to a depth of several feet. It has the appearance of a huge bubble bath, with young and old wading through the suds and getting a scrubbing. Believe It or Not!
