Jip, a German police dog owned by Herbert Neff of Knoxville, Tennessee, ran away from home, but returned to spend Christmas with the Neffs for nine successive years, Elizabeth Alexander of Houghton-Lascaux, England, was widowed by Robert Carr in 1718, when she was 18 years old. She survived her first husband for 72 more years, and she was wed twice more, the second time to Philip Bendlows, and the third time to Dr. William Alexander. In spite of this, when she died, her body was, at her request, laid beside the mortal remains of her first love, Robert Carr. Believe It or Not!
