| Synopsis | When a Dr. Ingalls was found dead in his study, a crossword puzzle unfinished in front of him, police called me in, knowing I was an avid crossword puzzle fan. A prime suspect was the doctor's son, Arnold. I noticed the number seven down was circled. I checked the puzzle and the number called for the two-letter word for a three-toed sloth. Ingalls had identified his murderer before he died. It was young Arnold Ingalls, the doctor's son. I'll tell you why. In the case of the crossword puzzle murder, the two-letter word for a sloth is spelled ai. AI. also happens to be the initials of Arnold Ingalls. Thus, a puzzle unpuzzled a puzzle. | ||||
