I haven't seen this in ages. Once more I wonder: is any of this based on reality? The guidelines regarding physical differences seem utter bushwah. Of the many Japanese I've met over the years, few fit the standards of stature, body construction, or jaw shape presented here. Furthermore plenty of them were smooth-faced, their eyes often resembled those of Chinese friends, and their skin color was all over the map. Most stereotypes begin with a grain of truth, but I'm hard-pressed to figure out where the standards in this booklet came from.

Wow, that is some incredibly racist BS. Sure it was wartime and propaganda was designed to incite jingoism, but still... there's a basic disconnect with reality showing here. It's like they're reading the wartime comics and taking that as reflective of the real world somehow.

A sneak attack - hundreds of Japanese bombers blow up the American naval base at Pearl Harbor, leaving over 2,000 military dead. America recoils in shock and grief, as well as fear for their national security that spies and saboteurs lived among them. The attack created an overwhelming unity of purpose - to expose the enemy at home and to defeat the enemy abroad. This book is part of that war effort.
