Notes | Story concludes on the inside back cover. This story has many similarities to Mike Arens' art in Red Ryder #100, mostly the horses. He can be recognized by way of holding the the single action gun using the thumb, some villain and fat man faces and often using small black silhouettes in the background. Also the bow-tie in the girl's hair is of one of his specialties. The gun holsters with the slightly bent lines and a strap across are very unique. The art lacks some of his elegant style from later Roy Rogers and Buck Jones so it may be another artist involved here. |
