| Synopsis | TV actress Dawn marries assistant director Cary, 6 years younger than she. After their son is born, she retires. Time passes and Dawn wants to return to acting, but producers only offer her supporting parts because of her age (33). Cary urges her to stay home as well. Dawn suspects he’s falling for young actress Eloise. But then she overhears him turning down an offer for a part that would suit her perfectly: he simply doesn’t want her to resume her career, preferring that she be a stay-at-home wife and mother. Dawn interprets this as affirmation that he still loves her. |

Lucy says she is a “gigolette” and discards Claude for another man. |
