"Tom Mix" and "In the Name of the Law" drawn by Henry E Vallely.

This is a weird comic: about half the material is newspaper strips and some of the art is quite good (Roy Crane, J.R. Williams, Hix, Vallely, etc.). Then it looks like the publisher had another "artist" do the other half of the book (mostly Western stories) in a very crude style. (The covers are also pretty bad).

i agree with dwilt but by 1937 standards overall mostly enjoyable

The Johnson Smith ad offers genuine, not replica, revolvers! Your choice of .22, .32, or .38, with "finely rifled barrel."
