StoryRod Rian of the Sky Police (4 pages)
SynopsisRod Rian and Andres are brought to the planet Mephistos by the native Mephisians who attacked their ship in the previous story. "His Satanic Majesty Mephis, ruler of all Mephistos" sends Rod to face his pet Carno, who is a large ape-like creature. Rod escapes, but encounters a giant Mephisian guard. Karin, the granddaugter of Elmus whom he thought died on the freigter, saves Rod. The pair battle their way through giant Mephisians and other challenges. The pair are knocked out by a gas bomb, ending the episode.
