Carol threatens to use her father’s influence to have Carol expelled, but Ken says he’ll quit the football team if that happens. Carol’s father is a big football fan and says Carol is wrong. Ken proposes to Connie. |

Edwin, Simon’s son, tries to make amends to Ingrid and her father. Edwin and Ingrid fall in love. Her father opposes the match but eventually changes his mind. Edwin buys Ingrid’s house before his father can, and says she and her father can continue to live there. He hopes someday he and Ingrid will also live there, as man and wife. |
