Eeyow! This has some of the most painful artwork I've seen in a romance comic. One notable feature: perhaps the only "ugly girl" comic book story in which the ugly girl is definitely ugly.

SynopsisBetsy and Bill want to marry, but her mother opposes the match. Betsy’s Uncle Jim tells them the story of a young man who found out his girlfriend loved another; in the end all three of them separated, unhappily. After Betsy and Bill leave, Jim finishes the story: he was the first young man, who then told Ruth that she should go after the man she really loved. Ruth was Jim’s girlfriend, and she married his brother: Betsy is their daughter.

Paul’s parents tell Faith they knew the truth all the time and insist that she stay.
