Centaur's got a real winner here,Amazeing Mystery Comics is very different then the other comics I've seen from early 39 at the virtual newstand. Really excellent artwork, adventure oriented stories that seem to be based on the movie serials popular at the time. I found the writing sometimes incoherent and many of the stories are continuations I really liked Dan Hastings and Stolen Jewels a lot. It's to bad I cant see what DC was putting out at this time which is stupid because if people could see the work it would become more valuable not less |

While 6-page Dan Hastings text stories were common, the only recorded 6-page comic story of this feature was in Star Comics #8. However, no scans are available to confirm the match, and scans of issue #9 are incomplete and do not seem to have a Dan Hastings story.
