Centaur's got a real winner here,Amazeing Mystery Comics is very different then the other comics I've seen from early 39 at the virtual newstand. Really excellent artwork, adventure oriented stories that seem to be based on the movie serials popular at the time. I found the writing sometimes incoherent and many of the stories are continuations I really liked Dan Hastings and Stolen Jewels a lot. It's to bad I cant see what DC was putting out at this time which is stupid because if people could see the work it would become more valuable not less

SynopsisSari and Paul head for the planet Venus with Steele as their prisoner and are attacked and downed by another vessel. The pair go after the villainous Vance Roy and eventually exonerate themselves from the suspicion of working for Roy.

SynopsisRoss Westley wants to find the Mad Hunter who raids his traps. In one of them he find a young woman trapped by the ankle. He takes her back to his cabin, where he hears how her guide made off with the animals. When the guide fails to find any money, he comes to the cabin intending to rob her, but is attacked by Westley's pet cougar. Mad Hunter and guide are one and the same.
