Solid scripts by Ted McCall and clean art by Ed Furness make this a good read. Nothing groundbreaking, but engaging and entertaining. First story features Nazis in the Gobi Desert -- in 1946. But after the War, those guys had to go someplace, right?

This was a fun read. For some reason the artwork makes me think of how Wilson McCoy's "Phantom" would have looked if McCoy had drawn better. The idiosyncratic lettering is a bit hard to read, though.

Looking at 'Anglo-American Publishing Co. Ltd ' listing on CB+, I think that there is a mixture of US reprints (from Fawcett) and original material. Looking for info on Canadian Comics I found this Canadian Government Archive esaay, which gives a pretty thorough walk-through of Canadian Comic book history. https://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/comics/027002-8100-e.html cheers!
