Synopsis | Orphan Lois is raised by her spinster Aunt Anna. Due to the “man-shortage,” she can’t find romance. She dates Bert but he vanishes when she presses for a marriage proposal, and the same thing happens when her friend Stella sets her up with George. Stella moves away and asks Lois to escort her fiancé Bob around town. Lois and Bob fall in love but Lois feels she’s betraying Stella. However, Stella admits it was just a trick to make Lois act naturally around Bob: Stella is engaged to Hank. Lois and Bob will wed. |

He says “nobody bosses me” and they break up. Kathy dates Tommy, then discovers he and Duke are hijackers who plan to rob Walt. Kathy risks her life to warn Walt. The crooks are caught by the police and Walt and Kathy reconcile. |
