| Notes | On the timeline page near the end, the last factoid is dated 1961 (TIRE DESIGNED FOR AIRPLANES THREE TIMES FASTER THAN SOUND). Johnstone & Cushing not only created and produced the comic book, but they were also the printer as well per an advertisement that appeared in Art Director & Studio News (National Society of Art Directors, 1950 series) February 1953. Johnstone & Cushing promoted their work in premium and giveaway comic books not only offering to provide art, copy, and production, but also printing services. This comic book was one of those shown they did the work for. |
