NotesFound at britishcomics.wordpress.com "It may seem very surprising to those who know her later coolly decorative style (which you can see in Tiffany Jones), but I’m pretty certain that the artist is Pat Tourret. Although the heavy shadowing and cross-hatching seem incongruous in an artist who became one of the great technicians of the elegant inking line, the intense, stony stares are actually very characteristic of some of her romance and other girls’ comic work, and I can’t think of anyone else who did anything quite like it." I/d and info by Goof.

Ripping story - does anyone know who the writer and artist were. It's so sad that so many of these creative talents are now forgotten. I shall always have a soft spot for Julie Jones and find myself in awe of Miss Molsey too!

I find this one fascinating. Even allowing for the comparatively bleak subject matter, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many murderous glares in a PL! It may seem very surprising to those who know her later coolly decorative style (which you can see in Tiffany Jones), but I’m pretty certain that the artist is Pat Tourret. Although the heavy shadowing and cross-hatching seem incongruous in an artist who became one of the great technicians of the elegant inking line, the intense, stony stares are actually very characteristic of some of her romance and other girls’ comic work, and I can’t think of anyone else who did anything quite like it.
