The adventures of an Incan Indian on planet Mars. I always like to see these early examples of creators who are thinking outside the box, not afraid to fuse together elements from usually distinct genres as though they were mad scientists splicing together strands of unrelated DNA. The artwork is interesting as well, with the first chapter especially reminiscent of the work of Alex Schomburg. Certainly his work was well-known enough by the early 1950s to have spread its influence worldwide. Then there's the obvious influence of H.G. Wells' WAR OF THE WORLDS, with the Martians employing tripods as vehicles -- while the Martians themselves are also 3-legged, but look to be influenced by the insectoid Selenites of Wells' FIRST MEN IN THE MOON.
