That took a while to read... Nice One Mr Goldenage!

In spite of assertions that the Captain Truth art is by John Giunta or Mac Raboy,. the shots over somebody's shoulder and the panels with the Captain's cape billowing out behind him are enough to convince me it's by Bob Fujitani. Take a look at the later issues of Hangman comics. The costume - half naked with pirate boots and a feather in his hat - is very bold for it's time though.

I'm with you on Fuje, K1ngcat. No Raboy signs here at all. Faces, poses, anatomy all say Fujitani to me. As for the cover, I don't buy it as Raboy, "massive article" or not.

The Captain Truth story is definitely Fujitani. As other people said, just take a look at later Hangman issues. Those faces and those CAPES! That's a Bob Fuji cape for sure, yessir. It cannot be someone else. Look at how the cape wrinkles in spirals!

Have to agree that the cover is by Giunta. The odd strands of hair standing up on Captain Truth's head are a giveaway for Giunta.

SynopsisCaptain Truth encounters some black marketeers stealing light bulbs from a store in order to secure valuable tungsten from the filaments. Unsuccessful, he returns to his apartment as Ken Elliott only to find that the landlord has evicted him and the rest of the tenants. Having no place to stay, Ken Elliott stays overnight with Joey and learns that his father is really Slug Warner. Captain Truth then decides to show Slug the error of his ways and reform....for Joey's sake.
