Rita's sister, Louisa, comes to take care of the baby while Nick is in the hospital. The memories are too painful, and Nick can't bear to look at his son or Louisa, who reminds him of Rita. He takes a job opening in Venezuela and sends money back to Louisa, who takes care of the child. |
