Lynne and Jerry break their engagement but remain friends. Lynne discovers it’s hard to get a date, although Jerry has been seeing Arlene Dyer regularly. Lynne decides she wants Jerry back, then learns he’s engaged. Jerry’s mother claims Lynne is also going to be married. This makes Jerry realise he loves Lynne. He breaks up with Arlene and reconciles with Lynne.
