| Name | True Crime Comics v1 2 | Published |
| Publication | Price: 0.10 USD | Pages: 52 | Frequency: bi-monthly | Editing: Jack Cole? |
| Notes | All information for this issue supplied by Craig Delich. The year printed in the indicia is 1947, so this issue has always been considered a May 1947 issue. This appears to be incorrect for two reasons. This issue was copyrighted by Magazine Village in 1948 with a publishing date (i.e. on-sale date) of March 2, 1948, making the cover date actually May 1948. Also, this issue includes an ad for a Personal Comics Album. As best as can be determined, these ads did not start appearing until comics cover-dated September 1947, and continued in 1948. |

| Synopsis | The Johnsons hear the story of Mary Kennedy, a roomer of theirs, who left Kansas City and changed her name to escape the clutches of a drug dealer named Tony, who she was a moll for. He got her plenty of dates.....dates that were actually pushing dope on the side and when she wanted to get out of this racket, Tony reminded her that she was his front for the racket and was just as guilty as he was. Mary later learns from Jacobs, narcotics agent, that he had joined the gang to get the goods on the Big Boss, which he had. The Johnsons, after hearing the story, encouraged Mary to tell her story. |
