Synopsis | Chicago reporter Paula is sent to New York to investigate the “dime-a-dance” racket. She is hired by Flash for his Mamboland club and meets Hal, whom she believes to be a small-time gangster but who is actually an undercover agent of the District Attorney. They fall in love, each unaware of the other’s true identity. Hal arrests Paula when she inadvertently carries a package of drugs for Flash, but the confusion is cleared up and Hal and Paula can be themselves from now on. |

Susan finds herself attracted to Paul. Paul warns Jerry that Susan isn’t experienced enough to ride in the horse show, but Jerry compels her to do it. Carol sabotages Susan’s saddle and Susan is nearly injured in a fall. Paul comes to her aid; Susan breaks her engagement to Jerry and will marry Paul. |
