Carter is arrested and fired from his job as a result. Sheila gets a reporter’s job but quits when she learns Carter has fallen seriously ill due to his disgrace. She pays for his medical treatment. Carter recovers and marries his nurse Marian. The repentant Sheila is left alone. |
