Synopsis | Down and out drifter Delores winds up in Brookville and is befriended by Amos, orphan Aggie, and Mrs. Nelson. She considers it a "soft touch." Reporter Steve arrives for the brief annual tourist season and he and Delores fall in love. However, when his assignment is up, Steve returns to the city, disappointing Delores. She follows him and he says he wants to move to Brookville to be with Delores, but she admits she doesn't care about the town and he gets angry. Delores returns to the town to get her things, then realises she loves the town and its people. Steve shows up and they reconcile. |
