NotesDespite using the names Sundance Kid and Billy the Kid, this comic doesn't portray the historical characters, but rather fictional versions inspired by the myth of the Old West. In reality, the two never met: the real Sundance Kid (Harry Longabaugh) worked as a bank robber in the late 19th century and died in Bolivia in 1908, while Billy the Kid (Henry McCarty) was a New Mexico outlaw who died in 1881.
