This seems like a very amusing series. :-) As far as I could see, these are "short stories", each stretching over a page. More Informations: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritzi_Ritz)

The stories of Fritzi Ritz and Phil Fumble actually appeal to me slightly more than Nancy and Sluggo. (and I'm a HUGE Nancy fan). Fritzi seems like she should have attained the heights of popularity (Movies & radio show) as Blondie but never quite did. Great issue. -L.

When I was a kid, I read Nancy every day and hated it. Now I think Ernie Bushmiller was a genius. Or maybe a savant.

As a kid, I never liked Fritzi Ritz. I thought the humour was too obvious and expected. But the Sunday gag pages in this book are very good 9much better than I remember. As for Nancy, I didn't like Bushmiller's silent gag pages of her alone. I did like the interplay with Nancy and Sluggo, a bit. But, I like her short stories in Dell's Nancy comic book series very much, once john Stanley started writing and storyboarding her stories in 1959, switching from Little Lulu. I love his visual and dialogue subtle, understated humour. He also came up with some innovative ideas and new characters, such as Oona Goosepimple, and sending Nancy into other dimensions.
