This Argentinian magazine, which ran at the '50s and '60s, presented a famous novel in comic book verison, plus some assorted short comics in each issue. This one features "La novela de una momia" ("A mummy's novel") by Theophile Gautier, plus one story of The Wise Guys, another of "Lorna, Jungle Queen", "Asesinato en la cocina" ("Murder at the kitchen") and "El rescate de Fátima" ("The rescue of Fatima") a serial adaptation of a novel by W. This is the first time I've encountered Carlos Lugo. Rich drawings on the classical style. Very nice. Lugo brings life to what was a rather turgid book. Too bad Classics Illustrated didn't have more artists of this calibre.
