Synopsis | Randy had hoped to become drama critic for the newspaper and was disappointed when he was assigned to interview the new debutantes until he met Ellen. Ellen was young, beautiful and full of life, and Randy fell for her quickly. Ellen found him exciting, but try as he might, none of their interests matched. While Randy was covering a big news story he arranged a double-date with his friend Ron and Ellen's roommate. At the play Randy knew Ellen was bored but Rosalie was interested in him. Randy realized it was Rosalie he really loved, which relieved Randy, happy to be free to play the field. |

Synopsis | Tim was a nightclub singer who always looked to his girlfriend Meg for support. Taking Meg out on a real date for the first time in weeks Tim learned of a coming beauty contest. He encouraged Meg to enter and wasn't surprised when Meg won the first round. Tim saw Meg win the semi-finals but she was furious when he had to leave for his gig. One of the judges chosen for the finals was Tim. Dot Mundy was the unanimous winner and Meg blamed Tim for losing, telling Tim she was leaving town with another man to start a modeling career, which was what she really wanted. |
