They fall in love, but Ginny fears that it is a summer fling and she will never see Pete again until he suggests they elope. Waiting on the dock for Pete, Pop explains to Ginny that Pete has won a scholarship to Tech that he'd lose if he married. The two decide to wait... with patience. |

But May eventually feels put-upon, and when she fails to give Edie her medicine, she ends up in the emergency room. Initially Charlie is furious, but it is Edie who forgives, and Charlie asks May when they can set the date. |
