Nora is angry when Michael fawns over his employer, but discovers he’s been writing a book of his own about Mrs. Townley, “a woman…whose heart is the size and hardness of a flawed diamond!” Michael and Nora depart together. |

When one of Dave’s practical jokes threatens Roger’s job, Cynthia reveals the truth and Dave is expelled. Cynthia won’t be freshman queen but she gets Roger back. |
