Fran learns star Glenn has a weakness for women with a certain hairdo, so she has her hair dyed and styled that way. Glenn notices Fran and promotes her career; they become a couple and Fran dumps Brad. However, when she returns to her old hairdo, Glenn rejects her. Fran decides being Brad’s wife is her career now. |

When a dam breaks and Paul and his nurse Joan are endangered while trying to rescue others, Ellen takes her father’s boat and rescues them. Paul and Ellen reconcile. |
