The Miss Victory story in this issue is the same as her first appearance from Captain Fearless 001, only completely redrawn. Weird!
   By
To make things even more confusing, the Miss Victory story in "Captain Fearless" is also credited (in GDC) to Charles Quinlan (who drew the story in "Captain Aero") but the "Captain Fearless" art is clearly NOT Quinlan (unless he had a broken hand or something). Also, the "Captain Fearless" version was reprinted in "Grit Grady" (one-shot). GCD does not make the connection between the two Miss Victory stories (I'll add this to their indexes, unless someone beats me to it).

NotesWhile this numbering shift from v2#4 (10) to v3#9 (11) seems abrupt and strange, Frank Motler observes that v3#9 is the indicia volume and issue number that this month's issue of Cat-Man Comics should have had, while the Cat-Man Comics issue from this month is v2#6 (19). If one assigns v2#5 to the month during which Cat-Man published an issue but Captain Aero does not, then it appears that Captain Aero and Cat-Man simply switched indicia numbering.

This story and the Miss Victory story in Captain Fearless 1 have the same script (although the Captain Aero story is one page longer) but are completely re-drawn.
The Captain Aero Comics story is drawn by Charles Quinlan, but the Captain Fearless story is clearly not his work.
