A first-class read. Excellent art with implausible plots where men are men, evil villains have no redeeming features and women are always dressed in totally impracticable (and probably quite chilly) clothes. Go for it!

Always bemuses me, that, thanks to the influence of ERF Burrows and Alex Raymond, all civilizations in space in these books are medieval with hereditary Kings and Queens. And the costumes they all wear are straight out of Robin Hood.
