Synopsis | Marjorie lives with her Aunt Louise. When Louise begins to date Jim, Marjorie fears her settled life will be uprooted. Marjorie’s boyfriend Ray doesn’t see it like this, but Marjorie goes out of her way to express her displeasure to her aunt. When she finds a telegram to Jim from “Marion” that suggests Jim is after Louise’s money, Marjorie seizes on it as proof of his perfidy. Louise is heartbroken. Ray discovers “Marion” is Jim’s younger brother and the telegram was innocent; Ray breaks up with Marjorie as a result. Marjorie apologizes to Jim. Ray takes Marjorie back. |
