Before secretary Janet returns from occupied Europe to marry Roy Bennett, she has a final holiday in the Riviera. She is swept off her feet by charming Count Anton Kaslo and ignores Cecile's advice to not take it seriously. When Janet fails to return on time, Roy goes looking for her, but Janet refuses to return with him. Only when she learns that Cecile is Anton's wife does Janet realize what a foolish dreamer she's been to think Anton would marry her. Roy loves her anyway.
