Nora kidnaps Ann and then disguises herself as Ann in order to lure Kaänga to her camp. While confronting Kaänga, Nora accidentally fires a pistol near his face, blinding him. Even blind, Kaänga manages to free Ann and kill Nora. |

Synopsis | A pair of thieves trick Terry into believing they are a father and daughter, seeking a human/ape hybrid. The real Dr. Barth arrives at the outpost after the impostors leave, explaining that he was in the jungle looking for an associate named Snyder, lost there since the end of the war. Terry and Keeto catch up to the impostors after they have captured Snyder, who they are hoping will lead them to a gold mine. Snyder's mind has snapped and he believes himself to be an ape. His ape friends come to rescue him, killing the impostors. Terry and Barth elect to leave Snyder with his ape friends. |
