Even blind, Kaänga manages to free Ann and kill Nora. |

Terry and Keeto catch up to the impostors after they have captured Snyder, who they are hoping will lead them to a gold mine. Snyder's mind has snapped and he believes himself to be an ape. His ape friends come to rescue him, killing the impostors. Terry and Barth elect to leave Snyder with his ape friends. |
