If you only knew George Tuska from the work he did for Marvel in the 60's and 70's you wouldn't rate him very high. The Tuska story here though, shows just how good an artist he could be. Great variety in the faces and enough detail in the panels to make you take your time, forget the story and just enjoy looking at it. I think, from observation, that some of the artists who started in the Golden age and worked on into the Silver age found drawing real-life based stories like Crime, War, Western and Romance more challenging and really weren't enthusiastic about drawing superheroes.
