The compilations are from Knockout Annuals but I don't have the dates. Nor am I sure exactly who scanned the annuals, therefore I've credited huckyc57 and Jimpy, as I'm sure they were both involved. According to Blakiania, this strip was published in the Knockout Fun Book 1945. The author is unknown. The illustrator AH Taylor. A strip of the same name was published in 14 parts and in Knockout comics 476 (10/4/1948) to 489 (10/7/1948), presumably the same story reworked. The later version was written by Percy Clarke and again illustrated by AH Taylor.
