SynopsisDebby, Paul and Lon grow up together. Lon goes in the Air Force and Paul joins the Army. When Paul comes home on leave, Debby thinks she loves him, but when Lon arrives, he is “the man who was my life!” They become engaged. Debby suffers “horrible facial injuries” in a car crash. When Lon sees her scarred face, he postpones their wedding. Debby works as a volunteer at the local veterans’ hospital. One day she sees Paul in the hospital: he was blinded in the war. Debby realizes it’s Paul she truly loves. Paul regains his eyesight and says Debby is “the most beautiful girl on Earth to me!”
