Synopsis | Bill decides the household must economise (then buys a giant stuffed bird at an auction). He berates Betsy for considering buying a broom from a door-to-door salesman. Bill tries to run off the next vendor who appears, but is instead conned into purchasing tons of junk by the canny salesman. |
