A classic Lesley Shane adventure with an excellent script by Conrad Frost and art by Oliver Passingham.
Passingham was described as an artist with no style of his own who slavishly copied Raymond. Doesn't matter to me as I rate Lesley Shane stories very highly.

Nice to see this. Passingham is definitely an Alex Raymond clone but there's good Raymond clones and bad Raymond clones. I'd pug Mr P in the former category.

You wouldn't believe how many artists strove to slavishly copy Raymond. Most never succeeded. I can see why that would be said, but there is really nothing of the copyist about his work. He has some good moves of his own. A great find. I look forward to more of these. This is probably closer to his real style.
